Gloam (Monstrous, #4)by Lily Mayne Review

Was it wrong of me to be staring at a monster’s ass?

When a book starts with this sentence, it is pretty clear the protagonist is a pervert. And from book three we were well aware of how perverted Rig was. The scared mechanic that would push through his fear of the darkness to help others despite gender and species. A rare specimen. I loved him. Even more than I did Danny. With Danny, it was curiosity and awe. Rig was relatable and adorable at the same time. I couldn’t help but fall in love with him along with Gloam. Enjoyed his perverted side. A lot.

Okay, so when a monster collector stopped by the camp Rig resided to capture Aury, the monster he and his best friend had helped, Rig noticed a few of the monsters she collected had been chained to her vehicle. He not only felt an attraction to the big monster with a cage on his head, but he also had the strongest urge to set him and his monster friends free. Thus, he started out on a lone-man mission to free the monsters from their wicked capturer.

It wasn’t as easy as it sounded. The caring human had to jump through multiple windows to get what he wanted. Which made the victory all the sweeter. I cried with this one. Bawled my freaking eyes out with Rig. Sometimes blood means nothing but blood. Oh, how I know that more than anyone else. Never thought it would hit me like it did. But I would forever love the duo. They were everything I hoped they would be. The best in the series thus far.

I kind of wanted the Seraph’s book before Moth but what the hell. We got what we got. I was here for the ride from the beginning. Might as well stick to it.

Sucked Review

Book Source: Kindle Cross-Post Review:  Chantie's Goodreads Review Type: Erotica Starred Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Smut Rating: 🌶🌶🌶/5 Sucked by AR Taboo Review ‘She can’t keep it out of her mouth’.  I went into this one with an entire baggage of curiosity. I noticed a friend read and gave a review. Two sentences got me wanting to find out what it meant. There was nothing there for the book bio/synopsis which enhanced my urge to know what the hype was about. Knowing me, I got a little too curious, and rushed to read it. I gobbled up this thing without batting an eye. No one would think I was reading anything smut worthy much less as taboo as this. Like what the heck?  I’ve become so desensitized to these things that nothing affects me these days. No triggers. Not even this Novella. At this point, I could wave down the train to hell and buckle myself in. This was just…I’m lost for words.  Father reunited with daughter after years of not seeing each other. That was just ...

The Dark One (Vicious Lost Boys, #2) Review

Book Source: Kindle Store Cross-Post Review:  Chantie's Goodreads Review Spice Radar: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Type of Novel: Series  Genre: Dark Romance Starred Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Book two of the Vicious Lost Boys series and I am here for it. The cliffhanger in book one got me intrigued. I jumped into book two to see what happened. Triggers includes Sex scenes, profanity, violence. I advise reading Nikki's content warning before jumping into this one.  The Dark One (Vicious Lost Boys, #2) After The Never King came The Dark One in the Vicious Lost Boys series. Nikki St. Crowe once again gave us what we needed in this Peter Pan retelling. I figured the title referred to Vane, the character. However, it was still centered around The Lost Boys of Neverland. A continuation of the last scene in the first book, The Never King.  I liked the way Nikki wrote the novel. It made it seem as if I was watching a bad ass show on tv. Sex included. The story got more in debt of the lives of the pe...

Coming Up for Air Review

Book Source: Kindle  Cross-Post Review:  Chantie's Goodreads Review Type: Standalone Novel Starred Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Smut Rating: 🌶/5 Coming Up for Air by Amanda Meuwissen Review  I stumbled on this story and noticed the merman on the book cover. I didn't even think much into it---not even to read the synopsis---why I took such a chance was beyond me---and got the book. My childhood obsession with merfolks--not Ariel, I hated her---followed me into adulthood. Therefore, anything merfolk and I'm going to read it. This book fell into that category. And, I was glad I decided to read this book.   It all began when Leigh was dumped into the river by the mobster brothers, whom he stole from to appease the mafia he worked for. On the verge of drowning, he was kissed by an angel. Later he woke ashore without the shackles that the gangsters had tied around his ankle. Thinking nothing of it, Leigh went home, trying to come up with a plan to get himself out of the bind he ...
