It started great but turned into one pile of cliche and gag-worthy plotlines. Maybe I've read so many of these kinds of books that they've become boring or maybe I have gotten used to reading dark romances that sweet and cuddly with bullies now give me hives. It took me a while to get into the first book despite how short it was, so I read another series and then came back to it. Once I got into the third book, I was addicted.
